University of Applied Sciences Dresden

The Dresden University of Applied Sciences is the second largest university in the Saxon capital. Technology, economics, design and “green” subjects are the four pillars on which more than forty forward-looking diploma, Bachelor's and Master's degree courses have been built. The university is part of a network of enterprises, research institutes and educational establishments, associations and interest groups. Cooperative promotional learning drives and encourages up-and-coming scientists. German universities of applied sciences are rarely found in Nature rankings but feared and respected by more scientific counterparts for their quicker entrepreneurial approach. Thus the university is a fundamental of 32 Dresden Concept members.
